Duties and Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial and industrial settings, including wiring, conduit, and control panels.
Interpret and work from blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documents to ensure accurate and safe installation.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety standards to ensure compliance with regulations.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow company safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Work closely with other tradespeople, contractors, and team members to coordinate projects and ensure timely completion.
Provide guidance and support to apprentices and less experienced electricians as needed.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and any issues encountered.
Complete necessary documentation for inspections, permits, and project closeouts.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of experience as a commercial/industrial electrician.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
Valid Journeyman Electrician license required.
OSHA certification or similar safety training is preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or at heights as needed.
Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust.
Must have the physical stamina to work in demanding conditions, including long hours and repetitive tasks.
Good vision and hearing are essential for safety and accurate work performance.
