Buist partnered with GDK Construction to complete upgrades at LaGrave Avenue Christian Reformed Church, located in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids. Our Service Department was responsible for a sanctuary lighting upgrade and an office remodel. The sanctuary upgrade involved replacing outdated lighting with new LED fixtures and upgrading the dimming panel to modern standards. Because of the church’s historic architecture, accessing the sanctuary lights above the pews required a one-man lift to safely reach the fixtures.
In addition, Buist is assisting with the church’s office remodel, designed to better support LaGrave’s expanding staff and extensive community outreach efforts. The remodeled offices provide necessary space for the staff, incorporate additional meeting spaces, and include upgraded security measures. These improvements will allow the church to carry out its mission and community outreach more effectively.
