Buist partnered with Dan Vos Construction to deliver Design Build services for the expansion of Moline Christian School in Wayland, Michigan. Buist’s Audio Visual, Automation, Communications, Contracting, Outdoor Utilities, and Technology Solutions Departments worked together to integrate the school’s electrical and technology needs. Construction began in February 2025 and was completed in August 2025.
The expansion added new classrooms, office space, and a flexible gathering area. Buist’s electrical groups handled all indoor and outdoor lighting installations, while the technology groups delivered a distributed antenna system to improve cellular service, Teams meeting rooms, digital clocks, and HVAC controls. In the gathering space, the AV team incorporated infrastructure that allows portable mixing consoles to be connected, enabling the school to host large meetings, worship events, and community activities.
By expanding classroom, office, and gathering capacity, this project not only meets the immediate needs of Moline Christian School but also supports its mission for years to come. Buist is grateful to have contributed to a project that will serve students and honor God for generations.
