Buist was a Design Build partner for the recent 16,213 sq.ft. addition and renovation of Peace Church in Middleville, MI. The project also included a new parking lot to support the growing congregation and community activities.
Buist’s Engineering, Contracting, Communications, and Outdoor Utilities Departments played key roles in delivering this project alongside Dan Vos Construction. The team provided full electrical and communications systems. The electrical scope included installation of all power and lighting systems throughout the new and remodeled areas, along with site electrical work supporting the expanded parking area. Trimble layout technology was used to ensure accuracy and improve installation efficiency.
A key challenge during construction was maintaining building access and safety while keeping church operations running. Careful planning and phasing kept the facility open throughout construction.
