Buist served as a design build partner for Portage Family Dentistry’s recent renovation, providing electrical, communications, technology, and audio visual services for this project. Over seven months, Buist designed and installed electrical circuits and outlets, equipment racks, and copper and fiber data cabling. The Technology Solutions department specked, procured, and installed technology components such as computers, monitors, firewalls, switches, UPS units, and a phone system. Additionally, Buist delivered an advanced audio visual system, featuring a background audio system for the reception area and each operatory room, as well as an HDBaseT HDMI video distribution system that allows patient radiology imaging to be displayed on wall-mounted screens from each operatory computer.
