Buist recently provided automation, contracting, communications, outdoor utilities, security solutions, and testing services for Duncan Aviation. Located in Kalamazoo, Duncan Aviation is the largest family-owned airplane maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility in the world!

Buist’s scope of work consisted of three separate building projects spread across the campus totaling 115,000 sq.ft. This included a new ground-up building called Hangar 9, an addition to the existing Hangar 6 to expand the paint area, and a new ground-up Vehicle Maintenance Building. Between the three areas, Buist installed 902 light fixtures, about 18 miles of conduit, and 66 miles of wire.
