Friendship Christian Reformed Church underwent a comprehensive LED lighting upgrade. This project was completed by Buist’s Service department.
The scope of work included replacing approximately 180 fixtures throughout the building. Accessing 105 of these fixtures required a specialized lift due to their location in the sanctuary. Buist’s team was able to strategically position the lift in a single location, allowing access to nearly all fixtures without constant repositioning. The lift was only moved once during the entire project and was onsite for just one week, a significant achievement.
This project presented unique logistical challenges due to the limited access to lighting in the sanctuary, but Buist’s efficiency and planning helped reduce costs and disruptions. In addition to the upgrade, our team coordinated with the local utility provider to help the church qualify for a $17,000 rebate.
Buist continues to support the church through ongoing service work and is proud to help enhance their space.
