To accommodate a need to add over 1600 jobs to the area, the Farmer’s Insurance project included a 264,045 square foot, three-story office building and a 100,000 square foot, one-story print and distribution center.
The combination of a Lutron lighting system that Buist installed with daylight harvesting makes the atmosphere inside the office building very warm and friendly. The electrical service for the office complex consisted of one 2500A and one 3000A service with one 1500KW generator with a 800amp UPS backup. The print and distribution center has two 3000A services with two 1500KW generators for back up with an 800A UPS backup.
Buist Electric was responsible for all the electrical construction, including the site work and final electrical testing.
