Metro Health has a longstanding partnership with Buist. When Metro needed to consolidate its Cascade facility to one building, they contracted with Buist to provide Engineering, Testing, Prefab and Contracting services. Buist had multiple departments on this project including Testing, Automation, Contracting, Audio Visual, and Communications. Our Testing group continues to test to NETA Acceptance standards performing tests on: (1) ground test, (3) panelboards, (3) breakers 100-250 amps, (1) dry type transformers, (4) 600 volt rated feeders >100 amps, and perform (1) infrared inspection after substantial completion. In addition, Buist Testing performed a Power System Study, an analytic study on the electrical distribution system of the facility. There was a tight time schedule for the new medical office building, and the electrical work was completed in five months.
