Buist was a part of the recent renovation of Grand Rapids Art Museum’s west wing. The renovation features the new Creative Learning Center, welcome center, visitor lounge, classrooms, and offices. The Creative Learning Center is a 4,500 sq ft interactive space meant to spark creativity in all ages. Guests are free to explore sculpture stations, participate in color-mixing activities, and create original pieces.
Buist’s scope of work on this project consisted of electrical and communication work, providing power and installing unique light fixtures. The renovation was a plan and spec design and 12,600 sq.ft. in total. Buist is proud to be a part of a project that will have a positive impact on the community.
